Sivas Cumhuriyet University is a public university established in Sivas, Turkey in 1973 at the 50th anniversary of Republic of Turkey. The main campus of the university is located 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) away from Sivas city center, settled in an area of 2,720 acres (1,100 ha) by Kızılırmak River. The campus is the fifth largest university campus in Turkey.

Sivas Cumhuriyet University is a state university based in Sivas, founded in 1974. Its academic units include 18 faculties, and the ÖSYM guide lists 173 associate and bachelor programmes. In 2025-2026 it had 46,823 students; 7,607 graduated in 2024-2025 (YÖK).
